Tomasz Jakubowski is a graduate in electrical engineering (specialization in electrical power engineering) of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Poznan University of Technology and the faculty of Electrotecnica e Computadores of Faculdade de Engenharia faculty at Universidade do Porto. He also developed his substantive knowledge in the field of the broadly understood energy sector during postgraduate studies in the field of Nuclear Power at the Wrocaw University of Technology and post-graduate studies in the field of Exploitation of steam and gas-steam and gas-steam power plants at the Warsaw University of Technology. He also graduated from the prestigious MBA Energetyka at the Lazarski University in Warsaw. Has construction qualifications without restrictions.
From the beginning of his professional career he has been associated with the energy industry. He has tied his professional career among others with Polimex-Mostostal S.A. in Warsaw, where he worked on the bidding and implementation of the largest energy sector projects in Poland, including the construction of 2x900MWe power units in Opole Power Plant and the construction of a supercritical power unit with 1075MWe electric power in Kozienice II Ltd.
For three years, he has been associated with the structures of PKN ORLEN SA, where as the Director of CCGT Plock he is responsible for the construction of a gas and steam unit with a nominal capacity of 600 MWe in Plock together with the accompanying infrastructure.
